Sasha grew up between Minneapolis and her mother's hometown outside Stockholm, and came to acting late, after a few years as a documentary editor. She makes small, character-first films with directors she trusts, and has played festivals from Park City to Rotterdam.
She's drawn to stories about families, landscapes and the people who stay. Her last two leads both premiered in competition.
