Actor · Los Angeles
Now filming · Precinct Nine, season two
Quiet intensity, sharp timing, and a face casting can't quite place until the second watch.
Separate drama and comedy reels available on request.
Raised in Ohio, trained in Chicago, and still drawn to the small, true moment in a big scene.
Mara started on stage with Chicago's storefront theaters before moving to Los Angeles, where she has since recurred on network drama, guest starred across procedurals and comedies, and led two independent features on the festival circuit.
Her work leans toward characters who say less than they mean. Directors call her a first-take actor who still finds something new on the fifth.
